Aesthetically the guitar leaves no doubt about the range of guitarist which is devoted. The Satin Black finish, is pleasing to the eye and to the touch as usual, and an high quality Ebony on the fretboard perfectly merges with the concept of the ARZ6UC.
Perfectly balanced, the instrument starts making us impressed also when unplugged making it easy and comfortable to play in every fretboard position. Frets dressing is obviously great, giving us a perfect intonation along all the fretboard.
We’ve plugged this Ibanez into our loyal Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, to let us pleasantly be flooded by the amazing tone capabilities of this instrument.
Obviously we can feel the high-quality woods and the Bare Knuckle pickups on heavy tones, both using bridge or neck pickups and the neck one provide a really beefy and creamy tone, feeling you are playing classic Les Paul Custom.
Going through cleans the result it’s always the same, very warm and articulated tones for each musical needs. Playing lick, arpeggios or just strumming parts in non-Metal context let us discover the tonal flexibility of the instrument.
In conclusion of our quick review we suggest this amazing instrument to everyone who needs an high quality instrument, very performant, with a killer look.
